The TXC Memorial Scholarship Foundation was created to invest in rodeo athletes—the grit, the heart, and the unshakable love for the western way of life. For more than two decades, we’ve stood beside students who chase their education with the same determination they bring to the arena, offering hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships to help them keep riding toward their dreams.

Rodeo athletes walk a unique path. Their sport isn’t backed by university athletic departments or traditional scholarship pipelines. Many juggle long hours, tough travel schedules, and the financial strain of tuition—often without the financial support available to athletes in mainstream sports. Too many are forced to choose between continuing their education and staying connected to the sport and lifestyle that shaped them.

We refuse to let them make that choice.   Our mission is rooted in belief—belief in the young men and women who rise before dawn to practice, who treat their animals with respect, who show up for their communities, and who carry the values of the western industry with pride. We don’t stop there; we champion the student athletes who give back, who lead, who lend a hand when no one is watching.

By investing in these students, we’re investing in the future of the western industry itself. Every scholarship we award helps preserve a tradition built on courage, integrity, and service. It ensures that the next generation can continue to compete, continue to learn, and continue to keep the western lifestyle alive.
