The TXC Memorial Tie-Down and Breakaway + Mutton Bustin will be held in Sulphur, LA at the WestCal Arena. All proceeds from TXC events benefit the TXC Foundation, which provides college scholarships to student rodeo athletes.
This event draws hundreds of competitors from across the country competing for tens of thousands of dollars in money, prizes and scholarships. Divisions range from youth to open divisions, including Mutton Bustin for the youngest competitors 8 and under.
The TXC Foundation empowers young rodeo athletes to prioritize higher education and community involvement through college scholarships and community service awards. Over the past 20 years we have more than $100,000 of college tuition assistance to rodeo athletes.
The TXC Invitational Match will feature 16 of the nation's toughest calf ropers and breakaway ropers in a double elimination, bracket-style competition with payouts earned by the winner of each matchup. Matches are run head-to-head with contestants competing simultaneously in side-by-side arenas.
Gate fee: $10 adults, 8 and under free
