Terry Cox was dedicated to serving his community, even at his own personal expense.  Whether it was helping in the arena at a rodeo, serving his church or keeping his community safe, Terry had a passion for giving back to those who needed a helping hand.  He was a straight-forward, kind man who never sought recognition for his service.

The TXC Spirit of Service Award recognizes individuals who embody Terry's humble spirit of giving back to the community.  Recipients of the Spirit of Service award demonstrate a track record of notable service to their community through the spirit of the service, generosity of time, effort, community pride, humility and benefit to those around them.  The service should have been completely voluntary and not in completion for required service hours.  

Nominees must be a high school student age 14-19 and actively participating in the sport of rodeo (any organization or level).  Awards are presented to recipients during the TXC All-Pro Invitational Match in Sulphur, LA.  Applications for the award must be completed online via the link below and can be submitted by someone else or by the nominee themself.  The awards committee strongly encourages supporting letters from those who can attest to the worthiness of each applicant.  Supporting letters can also be emailed directly to the TXC Foundation: txcscholarship@gmail.com
